Soccer Analyst Chris Sutton Faces Off Against Singer Olly Murs in Premier League Forecasts

Arsenal's ten-match winning streak came to an end by Sunderland before the global break, however can the Premier League frontrunners bounce back against north London rivals Tottenham this weekend?

"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," stated football specialist Chris Sutton.

"Frank will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this season - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still manage to win."

Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this term, versus artificial intelligence, fans and a variety of special visitors.

For week 12, he faces singer Olly Murs, who is a United fan.

Murs' latest album, the new release, is available on Friday.

Football and Parenting Experiences

Murs is a talented soccer player as well as a accomplished artist and has been a featured player of multiple charity football games down the years - but he is not intending a professional return as a footballer.

"{I recently played in a charity match the other evening for a mate of mine," he said. "The side was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!

"I continue to love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it even now isn't where I want it to be. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too risky for me in my profession to do it properly again.

"Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the moment that my child or boy chooses to play instead."

The singer and his spouse his partner have a young family, their daughter and their son, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming their coach.

"I will not push football on our children but I've already told my wife that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be managing their weekend soccer side," he said.

"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly was involved with a soccer team for a while too.

"My father did it with us when I was a child, which is probably where I inherited it. He coached our side for several years and had a wonderful time with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"

Top Division Forecasts

Weekend, 22 November

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

Chelsea might have to be patient for Cole Palmer's return from injury but their offense is already stronger with Joao Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.

In my opinion this game will be quite tight, however. The Clarets are well organised and their only home defeats so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.

This suggests a one-all draw to me, but I am in fact going to choose the London side to win narrowly for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.

The expert's forecast: 1-2

The singer's pick: Chelsea will be too strong. 1-3

Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Bournemouth have lost their previous couple matches - albeit both of them were away - but they got thoroughly beaten by Aston Villa last time out which surprised me.

On the other hand, West Ham secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at their stadium, they appear competitive again.

The Hammers' only on the road victory this season came at Nottingham Forest in the summer, when their manager Nuno Espirito Santo was previously Forest coach.

So, what exactly do I go with here - will it be the Hammers continuing their streak under Nuno, or Bournemouth bouncing back?

I will go with the Cherries, because I believe what occurred against Villa was a anomaly.

The pundit's forecast: 2-0

The guest's outlook: The home team are doing well but West Ham have improved under their boss. 2-2

The algorithm's pick: 1-1

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

The Bees were seen as one of the favourites for the drop before the campaign began, but they have impressed a few people under their manager and are in fine fettle with three in their last four games.

My son advised me to select Bees striker Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, guess what, I didn't listen.

Thiago will likely find the net again on the weekend but I am still not going to select him or support the away side at Brighton's ground.

They have not had much fortune on the travel this term, and Brighton are consistently decent at home. The visitors will attempt to attack on the break but I think Fabian Hurzeler's team carry much more of a danger.

The analyst's prediction: 2-1

The singer's prediction: This could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a many scores but it actually turns out to be rather tight. 1-1

The computer's prediction: 2-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

This is a massive fixture for the Cottagers, who have lost five of their last six games.

Fulham have have lots of talent in their squad but it still seems like they could be sucked into a drop zone fight.

As for Sunderland, well they are the unexpected success of the top flight season so far.

Their display in the two-all tie with Arsenal last time out was excellent. We've not seen any other team rough up the North London side like that this term, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.

The logical choice to do to back the visitors here, because they are obviously capable of roughing Fulham up too and, the previous occasion they were in this part of London, they beat Chelsea at the close of October.

However I am not choose that. Rather, I truly need to carry on opposing Sunderland with my forecasts. I am taking a lot of responsibility for their good results because they evidently enjoy to defy my predictions.

Considering the home side's at Craven Cottage form, the only side they have lost to is Arsenal. Their manager's team will be absolutely eager for a positive result, so I am going to predict they will secure three much-needed points.

The expert's prediction: 1-0

The guest's choice: I know the visitors are performing strongly and also that Fulham are on a poor streak... but Fulham have still been decent at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0

The algorithm's prediction: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

This is a hard fixture to predict. Liverpool have suffered seven of their last ten games in all competitions, but could they be one of the teams who profit from the {international break|
