A charity drive is aiming to send a Palestinian lullaby to the peak of the festive singles chart. The campaign hopes to provide aid to Gaza's residents while also highlighting Palestinian culture and creativity.

An Opportunity for Unity and an "Surprise Victory"

Composer and producer Brian Eno, who performs on the track, stated that the release called 'Lullaby' represents a opportunity to support Palestinians over the Christmas period. He remarked the potential for an surprise number one.

Powerful Theme of Self-Determination

Palestinian singer Nai Barghouti, who performs on the reimagining of a cultural piece called Yamma Mwel El Hawa, explained the piece's resilient spirit.

The diverse array of artists appearing on Lullaby includes a group of acclaimed names from the industry. All took part in the earlier concert, which reportedly raised a significant sum for humanitarian aid.

Creation and Launch

Lullaby was produced by a group of music creators. The track blends a mix of the heritage language with contemporary English verses.

The organizers behind the project have stated that their aim is to collect the highest amount for a specific fund. These resources will be channeled to Palestinian causes through an partnering humanitarian organization.

“There is no a rigid aim,” a representative commented. “We aim for whatever we can get. Naturally, the more the merrier. Every penny goes out to those in need in Gaza.”

The reality in the area was characterized as its widespread damage, with a huge proportion of infrastructure reportedly destroyed or damaged.

“Against that backdrop, a couple of million doesn’t make a massive dent. But I think what truly matters is first of all making this cause better known and showing there’s another side to the story.”
