The Streaming Giant Chooses Ideal Performer for Mr. 2 in the Hit Series Season 3
The Secret Organization is set to make a major impact in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, even if the true confrontation won’t take place until the third season, and a beloved, audience-beloved member has now been chosen.
The streaming service revealed recently that Cole Escola has joined the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will embody Mr. 2. Bon Clay can use their power to morph into an exact copy of any person they’ve laid a hand on with their main hand. Escola, who is identifies as non-binary and goes by they/them, will portray a version of that role reinterpreted as non-binary identifying, rather than as a drag queen, in the real-life adaptation, as in the initial comic and cartoon version.
This performer joins several other fresh additions who will portray the group to life, featuring leader Mr. 0, portrayed by Joe Manganiello, Sophia Anne Caruso as a key member, and an accomplished actor, who is also part of the cast as the ruler of the fictional land.
Though the role is a key figure of the group, the persona will be introduced in One Piece season 3. Considering the second season set to cover the Little Garden storyline, this marks a notable change in the schedule of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could indicate additional alterations to the narrative framework.
Their mix of precise humor and profound feeling makes them a ideal selection for the part. In addition to their latest vocal work in the animated coming-of-age film Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and numerous honors for penning and acting in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, highlighting the range they’ll add to one of One Piece’s highly regarded roles.
Netflix's live-action One Piece series is set to return for its next installment on March 10, 2026.
